We all desire to look our best when were going out on the town, but how often do we think about the comfort factor of it all? 

I know for us heel lovers that we're constantly seeking the perfect shoe. I swear by these over the knee khaki boots. I wear them a little too often and all for good reason! I can wear these all day long and they are easy to dress up but casual enough for a low key outing. 

I then picked out this oversized men's long sleeve t-shirt. I am known to dip into the men's section every once in a while (all the time). After constantly "borrowing" all the shirts the men in my family own, I decided to look to purchase some of my own. You can definitely find me at the mens section at H&M. Their tops are soft and affordable, so you can buy them in bulk! H&M tends to make a lot of longline tees, so they're perfect to be worn as dresses! 

To accent the khaki palette I have going on in the look, I threw on tons of gold accessories. The main piece is a  body chain. They can be found almost anywhere and can alter a plain look into a fierce one. After, I piled on some delicate layered necklaces. Delicate chains are so beautiful and my most valued pieces of jewelry. You can layer them with a plain top like this to make a subtle statement.

 For a bag, I dug out this snakeskin clutch I purchased a while back, here is a similar one. I wanted it be something of a simple construct but the texture on the snakeskin gives it just the touch that my outfit needed. 

To keep the subtle statement vibe going, I did dewy skin and a brown smokey eye for makeup and a sleek high pony for the hair! 

Layering accessories and focusing on the beauty aspect, such as a sleek hairstyle or dramatic makeup, can help to elevate your look! Don't underestimate the basic pieces in your wardrobe. Everything is what you make of it and it is very easy to turn something that one would consider boring, into something that screams YOU.
